Bridgerton is an excellent story of people helping one another to rid of their prejudices. Women at that time had very little control over their lives. Marriage and children were their future, and without it, they would be forever dumed to be a spinster. On the other hand, Bridgerton dives into the romantic and sexual side of people and how their family, can build them up or destroy them with their words. Having a long and happy relationship or marriage is hard to attain if you have been emotionally abused all of your life by a parent. This period drama is definitely a 5 star performance.
