the only storyline they did right was when it was a sequel to split with james macvoy character of "kevin crumb" aka the horde/the beast. otherwise, when it's a sequel to unbreakable, it is a directionless movie that ends up with something that is so stupid, yet so pretentious as get all out within what regards with the character's of mr glass (samuel l jackson) and ESPECIALLY daivd dunn (bruce willis). i can see what they were going for with where they ultimately end up, but it requires more setup on the part of director m night shyamalan that he is too lazy and self concerned with to, especially in regards to one extremely breaking element connected to the character of ellie stapler (Sarah paulson) who in a better movie, can be salvaged. enjoyable? yes. but very disappointing. mr shyamalan, at least do not write your scripts without a competent partner next time, ok?
