Let me just way, WOWIEEE! There is so much to unpack here about it. From an artistic view, the animations, music, designs and overall visuals are outstanding! Studio Trigger's work is always so phenomenal and eye catching. It was incredibly actioned pack and super fast-paces, which to some can be more of an eyesore than a delight. I really enjoy how expressive and dynamic the fight scenes, character interactions and overall environment of the movie feels. So bright, colorful and intense! Not to mention, the soundtracks were well fitting and gave a strong sense of dopamine. As for the overall plot, storytelling and pacing of the movie, it was certainly an experience. I can tell that the story wasn't internally made to be extremely deep but rather simple with a good underlying message. At some points in the movie it did feel predictable but was never a bore. It was highly fast-paced the heavy on lore. I do admit, I wish the movie had fleshed into the stories of our other characters such as Remi or Lucia (I LOVE YOU LUCIA!) considering the length of movie. Nonetheless, I enjoyed how playful the personalities of each character were and how well they sticked to their morals. Do I think it deserves the hype it received? Totally! But will everyone enjoy it? Nope, everyone had there tastes. I love films and media that can explore well know tropes and incorporate it into their own original stories. I hope we can get more content about the aftermath of the movie some day! Overall, I believe that this movie is too fun to ignore and should be given a chance, granted if you have high or low expectations. Incredible plot, characters and animation!!! The atmosphere of the show is pure eye candy hehe. It's a shame this anime doesn't get enough recognition especially since it's trapped in Netflix jail. I love every aspect about this show! The amount of diversity and heavy topics it doesn't shy away from is impressive. It's really easy for me to say this is one of my favorite amines. I would highly recommended this anime if you like heists, comedy and TONS of action as it always gets me on the edge of my seat. Makes me wish I could add 200 million more stars to this review. Note: The dub and sub are excellent so try them both out to see which you prefer :> PLEASE WATCH GREAT PRETENDER HHEHAHAHA ITS SUCH AN UNDERRATTED GEM
