Time i cant ever get back lol. It was awful, poor acting. Prefer the original 3.

As someone who has played both of the original games seeing them remake it as a show but changing characters and stuff. It's a bit disappointing. For example Joels daughter in the beginning.. she wasn't even the same appearence as the game. The fireflies leader was always black in the game but not Joels daughter. I get changing it to tend to a bigger crowd but gosh. Some changes are okay yeah sure but to choose characters that look nothing like the originals is disappointing. It's partially butchering it to me. It's just as annoying when i read a good book series and then Hollywood and media get its claws in real deep and grab a hold of a brilliant thing and then dumb it down or change it or miss relevant points and replace them with crazy and unrelated scenarios. That's all I'm saying. Like Matilda they made a play for the original movie and it was awful! However the Witcher series based off of the game the slight changes to that (not to excessive) were amazing! Theirs a contrast and this series was a miss for me. None of the characters look like the actual characters. It's a little Disappointing and I don't know if I will watch much past the two episodes that I have already seen.

I have played the game and unlike alot of modern day remakes of games this remake which remained similar to the game somewhat and added a few but pleasant changes. Realistic ones it was just so awesome. I love the show and I've seen it all. I'm very fond of our hero Gerald of rivia and Yennifer and I like that it adds backstory to them that the game does not. Hbo butchered the last of us remake for example by changing characters to nothing like the originals hardly. And the musical of Matilda was a blow to the original movie I saw as a kid.
