Teenage soAp opera, shlocky writing and some unauthentic scenes, like the couple who meet for a business meeting dressed like they’re going to a fox hunt, strolling through the woods, both with high powered rifles ( illegal in Ohio for deer), he shoot’s a buck, it falls over dead. Lol. Someone else mentioned the anachronistic dark rooms. How can you suspend disbelief when the scenes are unbelievable? Hey,it doesn’t take a genius to depict realistic scenes unless you don’t think it’s important. Mae is found at night in a rural area in Ohio with a pentagram carved on her back. They take her to a hospital, but they don’t try to find out who she is or where her parents are. Ostensibly, because it will cause too much trauma. Before they take these steps, they try to place her in a foster home. What?? Really?? But, having said that, the actor who portrays Mae has talent and is watchable, but just barely. Mostly a waste of time.
