Put the lights off, draw the curtains - all of them. And squeeze yourself tight. You are in for some journey. This Netflix series tests your acumen, your resilience and your nerves. It has this sombre lighting and background graphics that lets you believe something is not right. And a bit of bad is lurking out there somewhere. After E7, The Hill House lives in you and you live back in it. Over and over again. It's not easy to come out of it. And that's where this equation of the Hill House and the question of what happened on the last night becomes so gripping. And there is this long episode on funeral. My word - the actions and the flawless sequences of the night - amazing. And in one of these scenes is the bent neck lady lurking in the background ( only if you look hard enough). And since that time, the viewer is hooked on to see who can pop up in the background. They don't do actually if I am not wrong but that one scene got me hooked on totally. Well, well made !
