I have to agree with the other one star reviews. I watched only one episode and it was apparent that this was a very poorly written script and the dialogue is laughable. I expected so much from Ray Romano and Lisa Kudrow. They ate wonderful actors, but not in this series.

This is the kind of series that keeps you interested for about 4 episodes, and then you say to yourself...where is this going and how is it going to end? I felt the writer and director got super tired and decided to just END it all in the last episode. The ending is so stupid and implausible and the writers do not foreshadow anything about the ending. No motive for the killer, no explanations for his actions. In fact, when the credits came on I wasn't even sure if the guy was really supposed to be the killer! Very disappointing. This had a lot of potential...but very poorly executed. I forgot to mention the stupid killer remark" You get to chose who lives". Makes absolutely no sense. Trying to add in a little "Sophie's Choice?"

The entire cast of this show is exceptional. The actress who played Ray's wife was annoying, but everyone else was great. Glad she "died" on the show. The season where Ray sees her everywhere, bugged me too, I also miss Avi and Lena. Mickey, Aunt Sandy and all the brothers are perfect. And I really admire the actor who plays Terry. Wonderful acting skills. I can't believe I didn't mention Jon Voight. He is incredible, and I don't think the show could be the same without him. Wonderful, wonderful actor. He was fabulous in "Coming Home" and "Midnight Cowboy" and it's great to see that he still "has the stuff"!!! I've watched every single episode of Ray Donovan and I've loved all of them.The story lines are a little hard to follow, but I love that the plots always having Ray solve everyone's problems! I'm also hoping there is an 8th season. I know Ep. 10 of Season 7 seemed like a series "finale"..,but there's still more good stuff for the writers to work on.

Reminded me of a Steven King thriller during the last two episodes. I personally did not like the ending and thought it was totally farfetched. The series had a lot of potential, but was disappointing in many ways. The acting was fine, however, Bateman's Scottish accent was distracting and totally unnecessary. For the reasons above, I give it two stars.

Very enjoyable, bingworthy series. A good story with lots of twists and turns. Also provided a window into the politics and corruption in the D R C (Congo). somewhat reminiscent of "Blood Diamonds."
