Very original and suspenseful. The warning at the beginning of the film gave it away in my opinion. Had I not known what to expect, I would have been just as confused as the characters. Overall I thought it was very well done with great performances.

In my opinion, Shyamalan unfortunately set the bar too high with his first film. It’s reminds me of how a really viral video on YouTube from a new channel can actually hurt it. After Sixth Sense, he did well with Signs (the cast made it good), The Village, and Unbreakable, but had way too many preachy films bouncing around. I think he should stick to the grounded super hero idea to completely remove the expectation of a great surprise ending. All of his movies start out with intrigue, then completely let us down with a corny preachy ending.

Would have been much better without the YouTuber music throughout the movie. The music didn’t fit at all in most scenes.
