There's a lot of bot reviews here, and perhaps ai generated. I read one saying you can land wherever you want, that's entirely false. You cannot even go near the planet without fast travel, you can't even roam around space. Too much for the "space exploration" marketing they were telling on the teasers. If people say it's like Skyrim or Fallout, that's entirely false too. Skyrim is not bland and boring. Every map in Skyrim has meaningful encounters, but Starfield? A lot of empty planets. Fallout even voiced their mc, in Starfield, the mc is mute. Then I see people comparing it to No Man's Sky. No Man's Sky gathering is so satisfying. You can destroy and collect materials from stone blocks, plants etc when you shoot lazers. Here in Starfield, there are very limited items you can gather in a vast space, and species are mostly one. Heck, they don't even have a lot of new specie in the planets. Earth has no one in it. Dogs are extinct. No Man's Sky gives you an option to come near the atmosphere in the planet, and also decides where you can drop off. Starfield only has cut scenes after cut scenes. I can even begin complaining how they force me to do stealth in a early mission, and then market it as a game where you can do anything. You can't maneuver the ship properly, so if there are any enemies, it is so hard for you to fight back. Star Wars has better space battles than this game. The story how the MC has ship is so shallow. You had a reaction on some artifact, then a random guy just decided to give the ship to you. Later, game will say that you can bring people with you in the ship. Why not this dude go with you then?? He got kidnapped too. This is already 2023, defending the game that this is so Bethesda-like doesn't cut it any more. Show more innovation. This game is so lazy, I can go on in this review for days. 25 years in the making, they said in the marketing, Todd might not even employed yet in Bethesda when they concepted this stupid game. They think people are stupid. I played this for 7 hrs hoping it will get better but no. Stupid people telling that it get's better in 12 hrs, means the game isn't good at all. PS. It doesn't even go 60 FPS on the "world's most powerful console". Bethesda, you liars. Hope more people discover what rubbish you guys playing.
