I have just finished and put down this book and it’s left me feeling empty in an odd way. I connected with each character of this book- I am sad for Maneck and sympathised with how he felt towards the end. In a cruel but yet content way I am happy for Om, Ishvar and Dina and glad they have each other. For me, the book ends on a note that not all hope is lost.
It look me a while to finish this book because I was so deeply engrossed in it and reading the crude, honest situations made me uneasy. As if, I am in the book and observing the scene. You know it’s a good book if you are able to be in it.
Overall a great read. 👍🏼
