Even though I had to read this book for school, it did not feel like an assignment to get through quickly, but instead an enjoyable pursuit. At first I was nervous because of some other reviews I’ve seen, but it became apparent from the first page that this book is clearly more than they made it out to be.
Yes, it was a bit slow, but a book does not have to be full of action adventure to be considered “good.” It was more of an insight into ethics in science, growing up and learning to live, and, most of all, an insight into what it means to be human.
I would highly recommend this book to teens and young adults, hoping they can enjoy it as much as I have.
