Elizabeth Martin

I'm a huge Ricky Gervais fan right from the start. But this last offering just wasn't funny. I hate to say it because I was so looking forward to it. It felt like he was just saying things for the shock..where in the past there was always an underpinning social commentary. There was a method and a reason to the darkness and the offensive. This special didn't offend me, it's Ricky after all. However, it didn't make me laugh and actually had me checking the time to see how much longer it was to the end. Disappointing offering from a comedy genius.
