Too much of what happens and is said in the movie "The Platform 2" seems like it's trying to be thought provoking and layered without any actual depth or intelligence. Early on, a character talks about how his life fell apart after he realized the square root of -1 is an "imaginary" number and can't be actualized. I laughed at first and then almost stopped watching right then and there. Not a stich of what made the first movie watchable and/or Interesting to watch is completely absent here. You never get a chance to invest in any character(s), let alone make out any real story or plot point to move forward with or continue watching. Honestly one of the worst big realease movies by NetFlix ever. Don't waste your time. Skip it.

For me, this movie missed every mark possible, save maybe the cinematography. There are too many moments in the movie where the characters actions make very little sense, even in this wildly inconsistent film world. Like how Dave's character stands outside of the hovering helicopter that's waiting to take off to narrow avoid an incoming nuclear missile. Yet he takes this time to look around and smile at his daugher then look down and shake his head before looking back up at the super zombie hunting them, and THEN hops in the heli, with enough time to give the zombie a ride as well. Occasionally fun but not worth it.

I'll be honest. The first time I tried watching this I gave up halfway through episode 1:season 1. I am so glad I gave this another shot and the things that originally turned me off of the show ended up making sense later or not mattering at all. Season 1 was awesome...Season 2 is epic in every way! There is so much good stuff to dig into in the Witcher world that rewatching episodes or even entire seasons is more fun than most other series and the visuals, acting, script....you name it, is all too notch. I love this show! Waiting for season 3 is gonna be torture. -I have to add that the casting for the primary charcters particularly was genius/perfect and Cavill gives his role everything and his dedication comes through on screen

I'm blown away at how much I disagree with the majority on this one. Mostly, what I like aligns with with them but dang, this movie just isn't good. It's weak jump scares, many missed opportunities to improve and progress the central story and no major reveals to keep you invested. It follows did it WAY better.
