Garbage show. So far from the original and they completely ruin the characters. This isn't Halo. I feel bad for the actors and people working on the project because the writing and character development is so bad.

The story would be interesting, but the overly overt attempt to insert social justice concepts makes it almost unbearable. Having characters correct each other on their choice of personal pronouns is absolutely ridiculous. The show is sterile and nearly unwatchable. It's a shame because I've always been a Star Trek fan.
