The amount of dislike for this film is ridiculous. This was a great film. I do recommend seeing it! I will point out that the majority of the negative reviews are from non black people/non people of color. I would go as far as to say that the amount of black people on the screen is something they are probably not familiar with, which is why more movies like these, with a cast filled with non white people in the spotlight, need to be made. Something to keep in mind. And before you say I'm dramatically and unfairly using the race card for my assumptions as to why this movie is taking a hard hit, go watch the film to see that a film this feel good, witty and enjoyable is getting a weird amount of hate for little to no reason. Anyways, it's a thumbs up from me, as you have guessed!

Looked cheaply made. Jasmin is much lighter skinned than the cartoon (example of colorism in the industry) and was a little cringey to watch at times. Did not like. The original cartoon films are much better than the live actions. The only live action film I like so far is the lion king.
