Awful film, this partly politically correct mashup jumped from one random scene to the next, skipping whole chapters of a James Bond story that it had utterly no relation to.
Pointless parts of scripting that can only be described as attention seeking Wokery gone mad.
The dark moody murderous classless, and tasteless scenes are just not true James Bond, neither was the main villain, he just seemed to be a mediocre, sad pathetic character. I’m sure many people will leave the cinema feeling angry, cheated, let down and with the feeling of how could James Bond have been killed by such a pathetic villain with no particularly valid reason as to why he wants to destroy the world, he can only be put on the level of an individual such as Lee Harvey Oswald.
These scenes were most likely included to help boost a dull dreary directionless tale with a poor script and a director that seems to have never watched a Bond movie before.
Cary Joji Fukunaga who should only really be directing traffic is hardly the person to be let loose on Ian Flemings James Bond, he’s effectively driven it off a cliff.
What will become of the franchise now is quite worrying, to completely destroy all the characters and recklessly cast aside the role models that have embodied the brand for some 50 odd years seems like madness.
M being portrayed as a drunk with poor judgement. A moped riding replacement 007 that appeared to be wearing Simon Cowell’s cast off trousers and glasses borrowed from Timmy Mallet, the character had about as much appeal as a soggy weekend in Blackpool.
All this just to appease a small noisy attention seeking element of society.
I almost feel like saying shame on everyone that made this film.
