Peter Sabatino

This film had its best moments in the first 15 minutes. Predictable plot line with nothing new to offer. The retro styling and time period were strong aspects of the film. A ridiculous military antagonist in John Cena's character who did nothing except pursue Bumblebee in a jeep with a sour expression, delivering brain dead dialogue. Bland comedic elements permeate the entire film, culminating in a Goonies like yawn of an ending. Basically don't bother.
