I thought to myself after watching the original Creed movie a few years ago, that this Creed movie was so good, they should leave it alone, because how could they top this? Well, I was kind of right. Creed 2 was pretty predictable as soon as we knew that Creed was going to fight Drago's son. One of the things that I didn't like and truly didn't make logical sense, is how in the world can Adonis Creed be a Heavyweight? He doesn't look like a heavyweight at all? In reality he weighs 175lbs. That is a light heavyweight. And he is fighting Victor Drago who I swore look liked he weighed 235lbs, and what do you know, I checked and he actually stands 6'4 and weighs 235lbs! We are talking about a 60 lbs weight difference!! That is simply not realistic. Creed 2 was not a bad movie. I would give Creed 2 2.5 stars, compared to 4 stars for Creed 1. If you loved the Rocky movies and Creed, nothing anyone can say should nor will stop you from seeing this movie. But, Creed 2 certainly didn't not have the magic of the original Creed. Whether the original director Ryan Coogler can capture that magic in a Creed 3 remains to be seen.
