Not having read the books, this is strictly regarding the movie only. Storyline is rushed and at times confusing. Characters are interesting but not fleshed out enough to truly get involved emotionally with. Leaves you feeling like you wasted your time. Disney, again seems to leave us feeling cheated.

Unfortunately it doesn’t follow the books and is therefore rather underwhelming, likewise it’s no where near as charming as the 1967 musical- which also didn’t follow the books much. RDJ Gives a rather lackluster performance and does not endear the audience to his character. Sadly, it’s a forgettable film
