This series focuses more from a Turkish perspective and it Glorifies the occupation of Constantinapole by invading Turks.... The Mehmed just wanted to satisfy his ego and glory and in turned destroyed a entire city which was not his and resulted in thousands of deaths on both sides.... In the end be is seen shown sitting in Hagia Sophia and the Christian artifacts taken down and Islamic artifacts taken up... This may be the Truth but the problem is that the series seems to be Glorifying all these wrong things commited by the Ottoman Turks. The Turks stole Constantinapole by force which didn't belong to them at the first place
