This absolutely should not be a PG movie. It has to be PG13. We watched this movie with a 5 and 10 yr old and were very upset at the theme and message of the movie. Disney and Pixar are absolutely sending wrong messages to the young generation. They are teaching them, that it's ok to lie to your parents, it's ok to do things your parents didn't agree to, sneak out, all this when you are just 13. Those movie could have been soo much better if they had just focused on taking care of emotions during puberty and not making the mother a villian. Form now on, I feel we need to screen Disney Pixar movies as their definition of appropriate is skewed. I don't want to talk about periods to 5yr old and i don't want me kids to think, it's ok to lie to your parents.
