I was so skeptical because of the past (lets not even mention it) Took my family to see it on my birthday and both my sons watched the whole movie in the theatre. That has never happened. Even my wife enjoyed it and she begrudgingly went.
The movie had the perfect amount of nods to the franchise. It didn't feel forced like a lot of movies with nostalgia adaptations. Would highly recommend.
