I understand they're trying to create a backstory for a character they plan on using in the future, but this movie dragged on with not much forward movement. It's still never explained how the girls eventually get their powers. Also, evey-single-word "Ezekiel" (the villain) spoke was overdubbed.....it was as though they didn't like the original actors voice or he didn't speak English well enough to perform.
