Yup. Really bad for a Resident Evil adaptation. Considerably good for a teenage drama adaptation because it has almost all elements of a teenage drama. Dumb teenagers who think that they know more than adults. Kids who don't trust their parents. Kids that think that the world should revolve around them. About 80% of the series is about teen drama. If you are looking for the usual zombie apocalypse action, you will REALLY be disappointed with this show.
