I just have two questions. First, I really wonder what kind of upbringing the director had in his childhood in terms of male presence in his life.
Secondly would the lead actor and his wife will allow their child and other kids to watch this film. I think as one of the most loved actor sometimes the onus lie on you. I know this movie is rated A but kids are going to watch it if not on theater then on OTT.
Just for showing your acting prowess you don't need to justify the character which boosts alpha male ego. This is exactly what I will not like my male peers, colleagues and father figure to have such characteristics.
We are working hard as a society to change this alpha male traits but boosting them in cinema will not help.
