Who killed captain Alex, is an amazing movie that simply managed to impress me, Although the budget was very small, and the resources were limited, the director managed to create an action movie, comedy along with some quality special effects.
The story:
The story is very well written, so the exposition is well framed, so that we are introduced to some main characters, and the places where some of the main sequences of the film will take place. At the same time, the plot is presented to us by the fact that Captain Alex has been killed, and we don't know by whom exactly, this brings an air of mystery by the fact that the killer is unknown at this time in the film
The unfolding of the action is divided into several main parts, so that the exchanges between the soldiers' gunfire stretch over a long period. Until the moment when the soldiers' base was surrounded, where the climax takes place, where the soldiers, knowing that they have no escape, continue to fight. (I'm slowly running out of inspiration) :))).
This film does not follow a typical model in which, for example, the denouement of the action is presented at the end, so that it will be presented in the 2nd part of the film, thus creating a "blue balling" effect because the film ends without presenting the killer of Captain Alex.
Special effects:
The special effects make a surprisingly good addition to this movie, the effects of gunfire, helicopters, explosions, blood, all have been used in a realistic style, so the blood appears on the wounds of the soldiers, the gunfire is aimed correctly in the directions corresponding to the weapon.
Sound:
Although the special effects brought a bonus to this film, the sound plays a very large part in the comic character of this film, using, in some moments, the 3rd person narration to add scene effect, plot, and other improvements to the main script, with all this we also find, from time to time, comments with a slightly sexual connotation, so that we realize that the narrator is heterosexual by assuming his gender.
To conclude, I want to sum up this film as a whole and say that it is a masterpiece, which should be viewed for ages at least 16. 10/10
