Well acted, good story, but a lot of the Pop music on the show is distracting; some of it makes me think of the songs on Better Call Saul. I mean, the Pop music is ok really, it's just that it doesn't always seem apropos to the situation playing out on-screen. For example, that song by The Platters during the cattle drive in ep. 2 seemed a rather odd choice. I think a upbeat country song would have worked much better there. Billy Tillerson kinda creeps me out with him singing songs by female pop stars (Was that intentional? I would think he'd be singing country songs by male country stars.). I don't think that would be too stereotypical, since a lot of radio stations in rural areas like in the show do have a country music format. Maybe a bit less Pop music, maybe a bit more country and/or more of the incidental music would be better.
