This is a very good movie. My only critique is that I felt they copied too much from the first movie and regurgitated it back into the second (Spoilers ahead). Such as Rooster at the same piano singing the same song. An attempt to have an "Iceman" type character in the new group. The volleyball scene now a football scene. Maybe this was by design to bring the flow of the first movie into the second. Still. Too literal for me. But the movie was very engaging the cinematography was excellent. I also liked to see Maverick as an older, wiser version of him, without losing himself
