I’ve been anticipating this show since I heard whispers of this reimagining of the Addams family. Once I saw the teaser trailers, I knew I couldn’t wait. Like others have said, I believe Jenna Ortega perfectly embraces the dark, quirky Wednesday Addams we all have come to love. Also as stated, the brief times we see Gomez, why people fixate on their distaste for the casting is kind of beyond me. He embodies the original comic book character and I feel Tim Burton nailed the casting. The one thing I haven’t seen yet, is the comparison to Harry Potter. It definitely has the same sort of story line, with a female protagonist. It always confuses me why people hold on the previous story lines and hope for just regurgitated material. This is a fun, intriguing, dark, win for Tim Burton. He is a visionary and I will follow him to the end! Love it and can’t wait for more!

It makes me so sad this is what we base creativity and culture off of…. The world we live in is so cosmetic and vapid.
