Sherni is a remarkable movie—thematically, artistically and cinematographically....metaphorically, too. It hits at the system and lays it bare, exposed. Vidya Balan, as always, is a class apart: she lives the role of a forest officer whose right intentions and uncompromising efforts are thwarted at every step in a set up which is sick to the core.
