I loved the premise of this movie. It was comical, smart, and addresses the topic in an interesting, novel way. Congratulations to the writers, director and actors - this movie should be in the running for all the awards for very good reason.

I understand the perspective this movie is trying to come from (that of an adolescent boy). There were cute and funny bits. However, for me the movie trivialized a horrific tragedy perpetrated on the peoples of Europe, Jews and gentiles alike, cartoonized the abomination who was Hitler, and attempted to normalize and rationalize antisemitism. I found it irreverent and disrespectful. I don't recommend this movie, even for comic value.
