I’ve read all Davenport and Flowers books twice or more. But most of all I love the cases that are kinda local. All his buddies are funny not like his Fed buds.

Meryl Streep on the audio book gave it a deeper significance. Kind of life drama broken down to basic terms such as the importance of kindness and attentiveness. Fling with a star is a fling and not a deep relationship.
