How this game isn’t a 5/5 or a 10/10 or 100% is beyond me. Don’t care if I’m aging myself here but I spent countless hours as a kid playing The Legend of Zelda on the original NES…me and ALL of my friends. This series is near and dear to my heart. I’m a 48 yr old married professional and I hardly have time for myself let alone a video game. Last game I played was the last GTA game years ago which was fun but nowhere near the feeling of adventure, nostalgia, and pure joy of TOTK. I purchased a Switch just to play BOTW followed by TOTK. It’s not about beating these games or trying a speed run. It’s all about disconnecting from work and the daily stresses of life. I highly suggest giving this gorgeous, inventive and creative game a chance. If you’ve never played a Zelda game, give it spin, you’ll be so pleasantly surprised the only complaint you’ll have is why you’ve waited this long. My rating: 110%, 5 ⭐️s and an 11 out of 10. I’ll probably be playing Zelda games moving forward until I’m too old to press buttons but at least I’ll be able to watch the joy in someone else who discovers what I believe is the best video game series in history.
