One of the most original Horror novels I've ever read. What starts out as a darkly funny & macabre tale of a meek but determined woman and her extremely haunted house quickly evolves into a bloody tale of murder, abuse, messy family secrets, mental illness and the lies we tell ourselves just to get through most days. Both terrifying and heartwarming.
