This is a generational game. As in it's those once in a generation a game will come along and be so good that everything else pales into comparison. To me bg3 stands clear even above the other great games of the last decade like the Witcher 3 and rdr2. There's a couple of reasons. First it's the fact you can enjoy the journey with up to four friends. Second it's the combat. It's not just clicking on a crosshair or mashing buttons. It's that requirement of deep strategic thinking that really sucks you in. And by suck you in I mean this is that game where you will play and not realize it's already morning outside.
