Spoiler alert. This was such a set up for John Moran to win. Nothing to explain to us viewers that he was so technically better when his work looked amateurish at times. The judges were clearly impressed with his background and that seemed to sway them at every challenge. I even think they edited comments to make it sound like they didn’t love him but then he would win. 99% of viewers have never blown glass. We watch and decide what resonates with us. If you don’t tell us something is superior we think you picked a dead bird or discarded stuffed animal because you just want that guy to win.
