It IS about the killing of 2 lovers, in the sense of the world killing a marriage, and this theme can be extrapolated in a broader context to the destruction of the nuclear family in modern society. The title holds more meaning than just a tricky misdirection. This film is poetry. OUTSTANDING cinema. If you like thoughtfully written movies with metaphorical cinematography that reflects the character's state of mind and inner life, you will love this. It's not a thriller, but it thrilled me. Six stars out of five. If you have the ears to hear and the eyes to see, it has a lot to say about the world we live in today, and it is heartbreakingly insightful.
