And yet again the Critics have no idea what they're talking about. This game is amazing for a sonic game. As someone who's been a sonic fan since I was a child and have played all of the prior games, take my word for it that Sonic Frontiers is one of sonics better titles.
It has some flaws so I'll get into those first. Firstly, the graphics could be a bit iffy at times, but were fine overall.
It's a bit hard to get used to all the mechanics at the start but you get the hang of it later on.
It could get a bit repetitive, but that depends from person to person ( it didn't bother me.)
Now the positives.
The story is amazingly well written compared to some of Sonic's previous installments. The character writing is back to how it was in the glory days. The characters flow off of each other.
The story is fairly easy to understand. It's unique and actually has stakes. The villains motivations make sense and the ending hits you emotionally. It's amazing.
Sonic Frontiers is an all round swell experience and is 100% worth it if you're considering to buy it.
