While some scenes were really cool, overall the story was kind of weak and predictable. To me the real standout performance was the actor who played Hawkman (even though we learned nothing about the character, we got a little backstory on everyone but him). The Rock was good in his role, but whether his choice or the director's, his character didn't have a lot of personality. I assume that was on purpose for the character, but when a supporting character is more dynamic and interesting seems like a bad choice to build a franchise. By the end of the movie I could see a lot of potential for a sequel, but seems like that probably won't happen now that Henry Cavill is out as Superman in the DCU.
