I love this show, I come from an African family with the exact same way of life and culture, I wasn’t forced to be religious in my family but these same fundamentalist views were weaved into the culture and I was told that I had no other options on who I should be and become, I cut off all my family and now live in the US, I have had to navigate life on my own, I am just kinda getting on my feet, I love the bravery of the Haart family, to air out their vulnerability for the world to see, I love Mrs. Haart, I get how she thinks, every step of the way, it is nice to see a show like this because most people hating on this show would not dare to be this brave, I love the show!!!!
