Up there with Chuck and POW films. Story could have had so much potential but ended up B grade and soooo predictable. Maybe some appeal for 15yo boys having a sleepover, as long as their parents are out and unable to intervene... So unsure why anyone would find this “highly rated”!? It’s cliched and one of those films you finish watching, hoping that somehow it will be worthy of those 5 star reviews. It’s not. From the ageless “vets” to the way they find the gold, it’s unbelievable and juvenile. Watch with a cheap wine and microwave pizza, when options run out.
