So far show is rushing events, unavoidable seeing as how it’s always hard to adapt a book, yet in their haste they’re rushing through important moments such as him receiving the sword and earning his right to it. Grover immediately throwing Percy under the bus. Chiron not being as enigmatic as his as his book or even second movie counter. So far the only character I like is Mr D. They chose a great actor to play that role. Edit: Watched second episode, removed a star terrible second half of it. For some reason they decided annabeth should reveal who Percy is for whatever reason rather than him finding out by himself because why not follow the source material. Clarese is ok so far but she should be bulkier. And dear god I can only see it go down hill from here if they are missing the mark with small but defining moments then I can’t see it doing the books justice.
