I'm reviewing a "review" by an believer who sought "to clear a few things up," i.e., proselytize his silly beliefs.
First of all, no, nothing in the founding documents of the US is based on Christian "principals." I believe you meant "principles." Those principles have been around in human civilization since long before Christianity was invented. This is a common fallacy Christians love to cling to, in spite of actual history, along with their sad belief that without the Bible, no one would know right from wrong.
Second, O' Hair didn't "rebel against God," except in the childish fantasies of believers. She rebelled against religion, specifically Christianity, and its special treatment in a country that supposedly guarantees freedom of belief, which includes freedom not to believe.
"Christianity neither is, nor ever was, a part of the common law." - Thomas Jefferson
"The Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion." - George Washington
