There are few stories that hook you from the first sentence. I couldn’t put the book down. While my area in Florida was dealing with hurricane Debby, I was reading The Pecan Man. It truly is a wonderful story, you won’t be disappointed with Cassie’s writing style. I’m sorry I finished it, the characters were like family to me. I will definitely read her other books.
