[review contains spoilers don't read if you don't want to know how it ends] No wonder it is only 29% on rotten tomatoes. It has you in the first half thinking that there is going to be a struggle over distance but that it'll make sense in the end even though they might not end up together. I would have preferred something more interesting like that. [Spoiler alert] The ending all I can say is that the female lead does not deserve this man at all. She actively picks another man because he needs her? What a load of rubbish! This movie glorifies cheating in the worst way, with your partner thousands of miles away. And after a small fight he forgives her? Because he's not got a perfect relationship with his father? I'm here to tell you right now, just because you're imperfect does not mean you deserve to be with someone who would cheat on you this way. Movie sends the wrong message as though being hot, or your boyfriend being in the military excuses you from this behaviour. Utter rubbish, have more respect for soldiers.
