Unqualified judges talking a lot of nonsense. A grocer and a mediocre “chef” (YouTube him and you’ll see what I mean) listing what’s on the plate and describing everything as sweet or smoky. No point watching until the semi finals (which takes ages) as the standard is so low. Contestants are supposed to be the best home cooks in the U.K. That is utter rubbish. Loads of contestants have only just started cooking and it shows. Masterchef is franchised all over the world. The U.K version is the only one that doesn’t have respected or experienced judges. It needs a major overhaul and rethink. The professionals version is much better and would be very good if they got rid of the grocer.
