I loved this from beginning to end, top to bottom and actually laughed and cried so much my eye makeup ran. The woman sitting next to me gave a Kleenex at one point , whispering: “ I knew I’d need these, this is my second time seeing it.”
The cast are all stellar actors, dancers and singers, truly gifted to a man. Who do you give the Tony to?
It’s a shame audiences don’t shout “ Author” anymore, because he deserves to take a bow.
If this review seems gushy, which I normally am not, it’s because this is a gush-worthy production of a very fine work.
