I have been watching GMA from the David Hartman to Joan Lunden and Charlie Gibson years, to present years and have seen many changes to the programming during this time. When Tori Johnson started Deals & Steals it was interesting and I’ve made purchases from time to time, but it seems to have changed from highlighting Mom & Pop businesses to selling just about everything. What was a once-per-week offering is now just about every show. One thing that turns me off and makes me want to stop watching GMA altogether is Lara Spencer. When she is assisting the representative for products, Lara talks over them giving her own personal opinion or experience, and it is difficult to hear the product description from the person who is trying to provide this information. Lara Spencer also interrupts and talks over featured guests she is supposed to be interviewing. This is beyond annoying, it is very unprofessional. I’ve gone from routinely watching GMA every morning, to recording episodes and fast-forwarding when I see that Lara is being rude. Robin Roberts, Michael Stratham, George Stephanopoulos, among others, seem to be able to “play nice in the sandbox”, but Lara is an incredible “attention hog” and just doesn’t seem to understand this isn’t the “Lara Spencer Show”. Please ask her to remember that!
