This is an exquisite album, made up by all of the styles that influence Phil's voice and songwriting, from pop to rock and roll, stopping by at blues, soul... a rich, tasty mixture of styles that ensures the album never gets repetitive.
And then, of course, there's Phil's singing. The lad has pipes and he uses them in here in all possible ways, from the more intimate to the more outgoing and rocker.
I was gutted when Phil left The Temperance Movement, but if he keeps writing and releasing solid albums like this one, or being involved in magnificent projects like The Byson Family, I won't be complaining that much!
