I guess the days of trusting that if a film was made by Disney/Pixar meant it was a safe watch for the kids. Sad to say we watched this with my 11 and 14 year old. Wish I would have seen it before. It had a very poor message. As the father of teenagers trying to guide them through the pitfalls that will come their way regardless of all the coaching and teaching I give, to have them see that it’s ok to be sneaky. Deceitful, disrespectful and crude and then everything will turn out your way in the end is dangerous. There is still right and wrong folks. And it’s not all about YOU. Disney has bought into the ego-centric culture that has invaded our world and now is peddling it to our children. This might be the beginning of the end for me and Disney. 😥
